Antarctica is the coldest, driest place on earth — an inhospitable place of wild majesty. Joyce Jatko will take you on an exploration of Antarctica. You’ll learn a little of its history since explorers first discovered it, the unique Treaty that governs it, its scientific importance in understanding the cosmos and our climate, and of course meet some of the incredible wildlife that comes to breed every year. Come hear about penguins and seals, icebergs and glaciers. Join Joyce for a journey to the seventh continent.
