Owls are among the most popular and enigmatic of bird species, appearing in folklore, movies, artwork, and home decor, as well as through the lenses of birders. They're so much more than cute and fluffy, though. Environmental educator and VAAS Board Member Eileen Gerle reveals the mystery of owls' unique adaptations and discusses the importance of these birds in the ecosystem. You'll leave tonight's presentation with an even greater appreciation of these incredible birds of prey.

All are welcome - members of the public as well as Venice Audubon Members.

Participants are strongly encouraged to follow current COVID-19 health and safety protocols.

  • 6:00pm:  Refreshments and conversation
  • 6:30pm: Announcements followed immediately by tonight's program
Registration is appreciated but not required.
