This program will help participants identify and avoid health hazards while working or recreating outdoors.  Injury prevention will be a key component of the program.  Heat stress conditions and basic first aid responses will be addressed.  This is NOT a first aid certification class. 

People who volunteer and/or lead outdoor activities with Venice Area Audubon are encouraged to attend.  This program is helpful to anyone who hikes, bikes, gardens, or engages in other outdoor activities particularly in Florida's tropical climate.  

The program is open to members and the public.  There is no cost but registration is required.
