Rookery Day 2024 highlights Venice Area Audubon Society's conservation and education programs.  This family-friendly event offers activities for everyone including:

• Guided bird walks around Venice Audubon Rookery Park
• Learn about the nesting birds at Venice Audubon Rookery
• View spectacular wading birds through binoculars and spotting scopes 
• Participate in the Rookery Watch nest and hatchling bird count
• See the Purple Martin nest colony survey in action
• Learn about the bats living at Venice Audubon Rookery Park
• Hands-on learning activities and crafts for children 
• Learn about Venice Audubon's education programs, birding field trips and activities
• Native plant sale by Florida Native Plants & Landscaping with pre-order option (see below)

Please arrive from US 41 South onto Annex Road.  Parking is available at the Anderson County Building and Courthouse.
