Plant It and They Will Come

Attract birds and pollinators to your garden patio and community with careful plant choices. Create a bird oasis and help resident and migratory birds in the face of habitat loss and climate change. Mary King, VAAS Conservation Chair, will share information from National Audubon’s “Plants for Birds” program and other organizations. Full- or part-time residents will learn about Audubon’s native plants database to help sustain our birds and other wildlife wherever you live.

When: The social period begins at 6 p.m. followed by the general meeting at 6:30 p.m. and the program at around 7:10 p.m.
(Please note: VAAS programs will be held on the 2nd Tuesday in December and 1st Tuesday in May only.)
Where: Venice Audubon Center at Annex Road behind the R. L. Anderson Administration Building, Venice, FL
