The endearing Florida Scrub-Jay — Florida’s only endemic bird species — is in real danger of extinction. Numbers of these social, highly specialized birds have plummeted due to habitat destruction. Is it possible to turn this trend around? Join Florida Master Naturalist, Kate Borduas, as she explores how things got to be so dire, so fast, and what is being done to help the surviving Florida Scrub-Jay populations. Learn what YOU can do to help save one of the birds the Cornell Lab of Ornithology has named a “Species of the Century.”
