Florida Scrub-Jay: Field Notes on a Vanishing Bird by Mark Jerome Walters walks readers through locations throughout Florida where our state's only endemic bird species has habitually resided.  Taking a close-up view of current Florida Scrug-jay families with local wildlife observers, the future of this charismatic species is examined.  With chapters devoted to locations such as Sarasota County and Lake Wales Ridge, readers will gain insights into local colonies and some of our closest opportunities to view these birds.
