Bald Eagle: The Improbable Journey of America's Bird by Jack E. Davis examines the cultural and political circumstances that have made the bald eagle revered and reviled over the course of history before finally achieving success against the prospect of extinction.    Davis is a storyteller and he tells the story of the bald eagle that separates fiction and myths from facts and natural history.  

Registration not necessary but appreciated.
