Russ Hoffman, wetlands management specialist. Learn how we can change a neighborhood pond from a barren wasteland to a bountiful refuge for birds, fish, frogs, butterflies, and dragonflies. A sterile retention pond can become a sanctuary and a beautiful focal point for any community.

When: The social period begins at 6 p.m. followed by the general meeting at 6:30 p.m. and the program at around 7:10 p.m.
(Please note: VAAS programs will be held on the 2nd Tuesday in December and 1st Tuesday in May only.)
Where: Venice Audubon Center at Annex Road behind the R. L. Anderson Administration Building, Venice, FL
