Silent Skies – An International Collaborative Art Project Depicting the World’s Endangered Birds

Artists from around the globe have come together to create a super-mural mosaic highlighting each of the world’s 678 endangered bird species, which will form the artistic centerpiece of the 27th International Ornithological Congress in Vancouver in 2018. Local artist and contributor, Mary Erickson of The Artists for Conservation, will discuss this amazing global effort.

When: The social period begins at 6 p.m. and the general meeting and program follow at 6:30 p.m.
(Please note: VAAS programs are held on the 2nd Tuesday in December and May only.)
Where: Venice Audubon Center at Annex Road behind the R. L. Anderson Administration Building, Venice, FL
